Aproveitando o ritmo de férias escolares, que tal juntar as crianças na sala com pipoca, refrigerante e fazer uma sessão de cinema? A gente selecionou 5 filmes (e um bônus, no blog) para vocês assistirem juntinhos e, claro, render assunto durante dias depois!
1 – O MENINO E O MUNDO (Alê Abreu, 2013)
O Menino e o Mundo não é um filme essencialmente infantil, mas dotado de várias camadas de interpretação: é a história de um menino de vida simples cujo pai vai embora de casa, possivelmente procurando trabalho, e a criança, valente que só, vai atrás dele. É uma obra sobre a percepção das crianças ao mundo adulto, cheia de sensibilidade e novas experiências estéticas e, possivelmente, sensoriais para as crianças. O filme foi indicado ao Oscar de Melhor Animação em 2016, e ganhou dois dos maiores prêmios no festival de animações mais importante do mundo, Annecy International Animated Film Festival.
2 – CASTELO RÁ-TIM-BUM, O FILME (Cao Hamburguer, 1999)
Cao Hamburguer, baseado na série televisiva de mesmo nome, traz nesse filme a história de Nino (Diego Kozievitch), um jovem bruxo que precisa criar novos feitiços em seu livro de poderes mágicos, antes que os planetas se alinhem. Seus tios, magos poderosos, o ajudam a fazer isso. Castelo Rá-Tim-Bum é uma obra sobre perseverança, amizade, autoconhecimento e a importância da família.
3 – EU E MEU GUARDA-CHUVA (Toni Vanzolini, 2010)
Baseado num livro de mesmo nome escrito por Branco Mello, o filme conta a história de Eugênio (Lucas Cotrim), um menino de 11 anos que não desgruda de seu guarda-chuva, que está muito triste com o falecimento do avô. No último dia de férias, ele e seus dois melhores amigos, Frida e Cebola (Rafaela Victor e Victor Froiman, respectivamente), estão nervosos porque passarão a estudar em um prédio antigo e cheio de histórias assustadoras. Juntos, eles decidem explorar esse prédio e vivem uma grande aventura. Essa obra é ótima para discutir segurança, medo e reviver algumas memórias no processo, com as crianças.
4 – TAINÁ, UMA AVENTURA AMAZÔNICA (Sérgio Bloch & Tania Lamarca, 2000)
Tainá (Eunice Baía), uma indiazinha valente que vive no meio da Amazônia, é protetora da floresta e de seus animais. Com o surgimento de traficantes de animais, a menina decide enfrenta-los e, no meio do caminho, encontra com Joninho (Caio Romei) e, juntos, eles procuram espantar os vilões do lugar. É uma obra sobre tolerância às diferenças e proteção ao meio-ambiente.
Na verdade, todos os três filmes da saga de Tainá são de grande serventia para conversar sobre o meio-ambiente e diferenças sociais e culturais com as crianças. Os outros dois são:
-Tainá 2: A Aventura Continua;
-Tainá 3 – A Origem.
5 – O MENINO MALUQUINHO: O FILME (Helvecio Ratton, 1995)
Helvecio Ratton, assim como Cao Hamburguer, tem um tato para produções infanto-juvenis. E é com esse gosto que ele traz a história de Maluquinho (Samuel Costa), um menino muito levado, de personalidade única, e esperto que encontra conforto nos avós e na fazenda deles após descobrir sobre o divórcio dos pais. Maluquinho, assim como grande parte das histórias de Ziraldo, retratam bem o que era ser menino naquela época, mas, nos olhos de hoje, já reflete comportamentos que devem ser discutidos e criticados. É uma obra ótima que dialoga com crianças sobre segurança, divórcio e até mesmo morte. Há, contudo, a necessidade de diálogo para discutir diversos comportamentos que as crianças têm ao longo do filme, principalmente com relação às meninas.

6 – O ANO EM QUE MEUS PAIS SAIRAM DE FÉRIAS – (2006, Cao Hamburguer)
O filme conta a história de um menino (Michel Joelsas) que é deixado sozinho num bairro judeu, em 1970, enquanto ambas Copa do Mundo e Ditadura Militar aconteciam no Brasil. Um trabalho emocionante, para conversar sobre um período histórico difícil para o país, de forma leve e divertida.

The Boy and the World
The boy and the World is not an essentially childish movie, but rather filled with several layers of interpretation: it is a story of a poor boy whose father goes away from home, probably to find a job, and the child, really brave, goes after him. It's a work about the child’s perception on the adult life, taken by sensibility and new aesthetical – and possibly sensorial – experiences for the children. The film was nominated for Best Animation in the 2016’s Oscars, and won two of the biggest awards in the most important animations' festival in world, Annecy International Animated Film Festival.
2 – CASTELO RÁ-TIM-BUM, O FILME (Cao Hamburguer, 1999)
Castle Ra-Tim-Bum
Cao Hamburguer, based on the namesake TV series, brings to us Nino’s (Diego Kozievitch), a young wizard who has to create new spells for his magical powers book before the planets align. His aunt and uncle, powerful wizards, help him do that. Castle Ra-Tim-Bum is a work on perseverance, friendship, self-knowledge and the importance of family.
3 – EU E MEU GUARDA-CHUVA (Toni Vanzolini, 2010)
Me and My Umbrella
Based on a namesake book written by Branco Mello, the film tells Eugênio's (Lucas Cotrim) story, an eleven-year-old boy that won’t let go of his umbrella, and who is very sad by his grandfather’s death. In the last day of vacations, him and his two best friends, Frida and Cebola (Rafaela Victor e Victor Froiman, respectively) are nervous because they will now study in an old building filled with scary stories. Together they decide to explore the place and live a great adventure. This work is great to discuss safety, fear and relive some memories in this process, with children.

Tainah, An Amazon Adventure
Tainá (Eunice Baía) is a brave little indian girl who lives in the middle of the Amazon Forest and is a protector of the forest and its animals. When some animal traffickers show up, the girl decides to stand up to them and in the middle of the way she meets Joninho (Caio Romei) and, together, they try to kick the villains out of the place. It is a piece about tolerance to differences and protection of the environment.
Actually, all the three films in Tainah’s saga are of great help to talk about environment and social and cultural differences with children. The other two are:

The Nutty Boy: A Film
Helvecio Ratton, as well as Cao Hamburguer, have a talent for productions for young people. It's with that taste that he brings us the Nutty Boy’s (Samuel Costa) film: a very mischievous boy, with an unique personality, that finds comfort in his grandparents and their farm after finding out about his parents’ divorce. Nutty Boy, as well as most of Ziraldo’s (the writer of the book in which the film was based on) stories, portrays very well what it meant to be a boy at the time but, looking at it today, it does reflect certain behaviours that must the discussed and criticized. It is a great work that dialogues with children about safety, divorce and even death. There is, however, the necessity to talk about the many behaviours the kids have during the movie, especially towards girls.

6 – O ANO EM QUE MEUS PAIS SAIRAM DE FÉRIAS – (Cao Hamburguer, 2006)
The Year My Parents Went on Vacation
The film tells the story of a boy (Michel Joelsas) who is left alone in a Jewish neighbourhood, in 1970, while bot the World Cup and Military Dictatorship were happening in Brazil. A heartfelt work to talk about a hard historical moment for the country in a light and entertaining way.
