Lista | 3 filmes para ver com chuva

Os dias em Belo Horizonte andam peculiarmente frio e chuvosos para o mês de agosto. Entre os empecilhos de ir e vir desviando de poças e procurando marquises, resolvemos fazer uma lista de três filmes para ver quietinho, debaixo da coberta, e aproveitar o clima esse final de semana. Baseado em muita qualidade de entretenimento e, claro, cenas de chuva inesquecíveis para encher qualquer tela de muita diversão, segue abaixo a lista!

The days in Belo Horizonte are oddly cold and rainy for August. Amongst the troubles to come and go through pools of water searching for roofs, we decided to make a list of three films to watch quietly, under the covers, and enjoy the weather this weekend. Based in a lot of entertainment value and, of course, unforgettable rain scenes to fill any screen, bellow the list.

1 – Cantando na Chuva (Stanley Doney & Gene Kelly, 1952)

Singin’ in the Rain

Don Lockwood (Gene Kelly) e Lina Lamont (Jean Hagen) são os maiores astros de sua época em Hollywood: seus filmes são um sucesso e os tabloides apontam para um relacionamento amoroso entre eles que não existe. Contudo, o cinema falado chega para mudar a vida desses dois que, juntos, deverão superar as intemperes desse novo formato cinematográfico para manter a fama que têm.

A clássica cena em que os protagonistas dançam na chuva é, definitivamente, ainda uma das melhores da história do cinema.

Don Lockwood (Gene Kelly) and Lina Lamont (Jean Hagen) are the biggest stars of their time in Hollywood: their films are a success and the tabloid all point out to a romance between them that doesn’t exist. However, the talking cinema comes along to change the lives of both of them who, together, must overcome the troubles of the new format to keep the fame they have.

The classical scene in which they dance in the rain is, definitely, still one of the best in the cinema history.

2 – Bonequinha de Luxo (Blake Edwards, 1961)

Holly Gollightly (Audrey Hepburn), uma socialite – e, porque não? Alpinista social – perdida entre as futilidades e superficialidades de sua vida repleta de momentos peculiares (como cafés da manhã em frente a uma joalheria) se interessa pelo homem que acaba de se mudar para o seu prédio. Contudo, seu passado entra no caminho e ameaça a possibilidade do relacionamento entre os dois.

A cena de chuva desse filme é emocionante e reflete intimamente o momento que a personagem se encontra, complexidades que vão de suas maiores ambições à uma recém encontrada paixão.

Holly Gollightly (Audrey Hepburn), a socialite – and, why not? Social Climber – who lost in futilities of her full of peculiarities life (like breakfast in front of jewellery stores) is interested in the man who has just moved to her building. However, her past gets in the way and threatens the possibility of a relationship between them.

The rain scene in the movie is emotional and reflects in an intimate way the moment the character is in, with complexities that range from her biggest ambitions to a newly found love.

3 – Jurassic Park: Parque dos Dinossauros (Steven Spielberg, 1993)

John Hammond (Richard Attenborough) criou um parque temático habitado por dinossauros e, para testá-lo, convida seus netos, cientistas e figuras públicas para conhecer o lugar. Contudo, o passeio não acontece de acordo com os planos de Hammond e o que era para ser divertido, se torna no momento mais aterrorizante da vida de todos os envolvidos.

Se existe uma cena que dá perfeitamente o tom da saga é o famoso momento em que o grupo se encontra com o T-Rex, quando os carros param: tensão, desespero e situações que não param de te deixar na beirada do assento. Daí para frente, Jurassic Park só melhora.

John Hammond (Richard Attenborough) created a theme park inhabited by dinosaurs and, to test it, invites over his grandchildren, scientists and public figures to get to know the place. However, the visit does not go according to Hammond’s plans and what was supposed to be fun, becomes the most terrorizing moments of everyone involved.

If there is a scene that perfectly sets the tune of the saga is the famous moment in which the group finds the T-Rex when the cars break: tension, despair and situations that keep taking you to the edge of your seat; From this moment on, Jurassic Park just gets better.
